Out of Creation Jewelry had its rather unintentional beginnings sometime around 1997 here in north central Florida.

Finding an old silver dime and visiting a gem mine in the northeastern United States in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains both really sparked an interest in coins, precious metals, colored gems and stones, and the making of jewelry. From it’s early outset, using very primitive tools, to taking a few jewelry making classes, to working with acetylene torches and faceting machines, I continue to have a growing interest in this wonderful craft.

Over the years, as my craft improved, gifts to friends and family gradually evolved into making a sale here and there. I started thinking that this endeavor ought to have a name. I looked at my art as having come from the things of nature around me, things which the Creator had put here from eons ago. Hence the name “Out of Creation” was adopted.
